Volunteer
Volunteers play a critical role in the function of Roland Park K-8 Magnet School. There are many opportunities to get involved on campus, including helping in the cafeteria, mentoring students, and assisting in school maintenance projects.
Opportunities to get involved can be found on the RP Calendar, in the weekly newsletter, and through the Dad's Club.
Please complete the Willingness to Serve Application to receive regular notifications about opportunities.
** You must complete your Hillsborough County Public School (HCPS) Volunteer Application every school year; a completed application is required to volunteer on campus, including being a field trip chaperone. Complete the Application Here
Help in the Library
Volunteering in the media center is a truly wonderful way to connect with the community at Roland Park. Extra support is always needed as our media specialist, Mrs. Martinez, wears many hats. Providing support during kindergarten lessons is especially helpful! Contact the Library chairperson Sarah Moreng at friendsofthelibrary@rolandparkptsa.org, for additional information.
Through the PTSA
There are many opportunities to volunteer through the PTSA, including officer positions (e.g., secretary, treasurer, etc.) and various PTSA-sponsored programs (teacher appreciation activities, school garden, uniform closet, dad’s club, etc.). Let us know your strengths/ talents/ interests and we will find a place for you! Much of this work can be done remotely. Please email president@rolandparkptsa.org for further information.
